[Plugin: Gallery to Slideshow] Installed plugin, nothing happens. What am I missing?

I would suggest trying the plugin on a fresh install and deactivating all other plugins. If the problem persists let us know.

I’m guessing that the complete lack of any [expletive deleted] documentation at all is the reason that this user and many others are having trouble with this waste of a plugin. Get some clue, will you? You should be ashamed of yourself, Matt.

I agree with etfb (without the expletive), Matt. No documentation is poor form. I have the same problem and looked for the install instructions and then to this forum, both of which were less than helpful. I mean, you don’t even give the shortcode in your install directions. Not all of us were there with you when you wrote the thing, and while I appreciate the free help in making my site, I think that if you stick yourself out there with something to help, you could be more helpful. Uninstalling.

A plugin with no documentation is just a waste of time.

2- follow the step 1 correctly, say thank you & give some respect to developer.

I too am finding myself frustrated with the lack of documentation. Though the plugin is working fine for me on a basic level, there are some things about its behavior that I don’t understand. For this, documentation would be useful since I can’t find my answer in the forums.

As Roxor said, ALL you need to do is:

1- learn how to make a gallery. here https://en.support.wordpress.com/images/gallery/
2- follow the step 1 correctly, say thank you & give some respect to developer.

Which is clearly noted on the plugin description page: “This plugin for WordPress converts the built in gallery into a simple and responsive slideshow”.

This plugin does NOTHING beyond altering the output of the DEFAULT gallery. If you want to make advanced changes, then you have to dip into code ( which has been written with lots of hooks to make it very extensible and customisable ).
