[Plugin: GD Custom Posts And Taxonomies Tools] Add more args option to the widgets

  • Hi there GDragoN,

    Here is another suggestion for you. In the widget used to display the custom taxnonomies, we have several options such as “Sorty by”, “Order”, etc.

    Besides my previous suggestion of allowing the list to be displayed as a dropdown list, could you add the option to allow the listing of taxonomies that doesn’t contain posts?

    That would be the equivalent of “hide_empty=0” used when listing categories.

    Other cool option would be to allow the argument “exclude” (to exclude taxonomies) as well.

    If you want, send me the POE files of the plug-in and I’ll translate them for you to Brazilian Portuguese. You can even send me the POE file for the PRO version (without sending me the whole plug-in itself, since I haven’t acquired a license for the PRO version [yet]) and I’ll be happy to translate it for you as a token of my appreciation!

    I have registered at your site and as you plan to release new versions of the plug-ins tomorrow, I will download the updated POT files and translate them.

    In the meantime, could you please give me a hand on how to display the custom taxonomies in a dropdown list? Here os the original post about this issue
