[Plugin: GD Custom Posts And Taxonomies Tools] Lost privleges to add/edit/delete

    Hi,

    I have upgraded WordPress to 3.1 and GD Custom Post Type Tools to Version 1.3.3.

    The existing post types I have had for the past few months now prevent me from posting a in a new post type or editing a current one. The only option I have is to ‘View’.

    I have reset the capabilities as requested in the instructions.

    If I create a new custom post type however it will work – but as you can understand I have several entries in my current post type and cannot access or add to them.

    Please advise,

    This problem has occured on more than one installation, it has also gone wrong on another upgrade in a similar scenario to the one above.

    Can anybody help?

    In WP 3.1 you must change Settings -> Capabilities to Capability Type and have all capabilities set. There were some changes in WP 3.1 that behave strangely, so I will revisit all that for new version, since it’s not the same in WP 3.0 and WP 3.1.
