This plugin is for managing taxonomies. Using taxonomies has nothing to do with plugin, and it’s part of WordPress core, and all functions you need are already built in WordPress. Check WP documentation for these functions.

Few functions that are not part of WordPress are added by the plugin, and they are in plugins code/fnc/general.php file.
