    Hi there,

I am currently using WordPress 2.9.2 and I am planning to upgrade to WordPress 3.0 beta 2 (don’t worry, it is in a development environment).

I am currently using this plug-in (gd-taxonomies-tools) with some custom taxonomies, and I am worried if updating my WordPRess 2.9.2 to WordPress 3.0 would break something. I mean, prthaps the gd-taxonomies-tools plug-in handles custom taxonomies a bit differently than WordPress 3.0 and my database might get messed up?

I know I should disable all plug-ins before installation, but wouldn’t disabling (not deleting/removing) the gd-taxonomies-tools plug-in delete my taxonomies?

Thanks in advance for the help.

    Cheers,
    P.

Made a backup of my site and DB and I just went for it! It is working like a charm. In fact the plug-in works even better. I deactivated before the upgrade and reactivated it after though.

This latest versions are made for the latest beta/nightly versions of WP 3.0 and implement everything added.
