Yes and no. There is a way to limit ratings to categories, but right now if you limit standard ratings it will limit multis also. But as always, there are functions you can use. They are all in listed in the info files included with plugin. Or check the read me for the link.

and what’s the category rating on gd ? So the onyl way i use wordpress function to show different loop based on category ?

All ratings are post (or comments) based. I will at one point functions to calculate rating for all posts in the category, but right now that function doesn’t exist.

All available functions are described in info files. And I repeat again, ratings are post and comment based not category based.
