• This plugin is just incompatible with most popular plugins such as Contact 7, Visitor Maps, WP-Backup, WP-Database backup, Google Analytics and some other smaller ones.

Its multiset support is a must for me but the plugin is way too problematic. I just don’t understand why it does not work with such a wide range of plugins.

That’s simply not true. It works fine with Contact Form 7 and the others (I can’t say about VIsitor Maps since I didn’t tried it). And what the incompatibility is? What GDSR is causing to make problems with these plugins? It’s easy to say that plugin is incompatible, give me list of things that are problems.

When I install one of these plugins while GD Star Ratings are enabled, the plugins page gets broken (with internal server error) and the only way to correct it is to uninstall one of the plugins manually.
However, if I install these while GD star ratings are disabled, the plugins page works without any problems.

For instance, while writing this message, I tried to enable GD Star Ratings while Google Analytics is enabled and the main plugins page and the admin pages of other plugins are all giving internal server errors.

I use Contact Form 7 on several websites with GD Star Rating, and on main plugin website GD Star Rating works with Google Analytics plugin, and there are no problems.

What WP version you use, and find me the errors from PHP server logs, and I will check it out. If you get internal server error, there must be a real error logged into the file.

At first, I thought that this problem is related with memory and before starting this thread, I increased my php memory setting ro 96MB using wp-config.

However, I recently realized that my host allows 64MB memory max and my memory setting in wp-config was not activated.

Now, I set my php memory through php.ini from 18MB to 64MB.

    It’s working right now.

WordPress from version 2.9 needs 32MB to work. Depending on number of plugins it needs more than that.
