    Hi Nick,

Here is my test site, excuse the mess ?? : click here

I have 4 widget areas with genesis featured widget amplified plugin in them that are set to display posts from a specific category. That works fine, however, my posts have multiple categories assigned to them and we don’t want to have more than one instance of a post displaying amongst the 4 loops. I tried excluding the 3 other categories inside of each of the widgets exclude by id input but then it just skips over all posts until it finds one that only has one category assigned to it. The problem is that this jumps back in time and doesn’t show a more recent post.

I’m not sure if there is a way to work within your plugin and get my desired result or if I need to hardcode the 4 loops into the home.php file? Either way, I’m not so sure I know how to even set this up in a hardcoded way. Any help or direction in this is greatly appreciated.

    blessings,

    Andrew

You will need custom loops for that. At some point I may add a feature to not repeat posts using a $gfwa_post_IDs variable and build an array of all posts then exclude those posts if selected. For now it can’t be done in the plugin.
