[Plugin: Gigs Calendar] Ditch the Venue Option

  • We don’t go back to gigs very often. It would be much easier for me to just enter the event with the venue information than having to enter two different things and find the venue in a dropdown menu.

    Is there a way to just have all the gig and venue info in the same place?

    Please don’t change this. We use this as a clubs calendar, and regularly use the drop-down venue menu. It’s a HUGE time saver over entering it in manually each time. Maybe some way of allowing user control of the drop down would be a nice feature, though.

    yeah, I am not suggesting to change the plugin, I was just wondering if there was a way to disable the venue.

    If we do go back to the same area, usually the details about the venue are slightly different anyway, so for me, it is a hassle to make a venue and find it in the huge drop down menu every time.

    I understand how it could be handy for someone else.

    Is there any way to bypass the venue and just put some of that info in the event column?
