• I started using your plugin and think it is great. I am just wondering if it is possible to import venues and gigs via a spreadsheet or CSV. I have a lot of venues I want to import (around 400), but if possible I dont want to do it manually. On top of that the gigs associated with these venues would be for several artists, hence multiplying my effort required. I know there are certain post import pluging such as CSV Importer but i am pretty much sure this would not work with your plugin. Any advice on this would be hugely appreciated. Perhaps I can imports the posts in a certain way so Gigs calendar thinks they are created by itself, and then it will read them? I am not really sure.

  • Why don’t you use phpMyAdmin’s import function? If you don’t know it or don’t know how to use it, you probably have to type in all your information needed.

Otherwise, for your venues it should not be a bit of problem, meaning that gigs calendars db tables will not get corrupted or inconsistent if you import that data via csv-files. Be sure to have the right values at the right position!

For your gigs’ data, I must say, that since you are in need of an easy-to-use import function, this issue will be too hard to do it yourself manually, since it would take less trivial SQL-statements and even phpMyAdmin will not be set up right in most cases to help you on that.
