    Hi!

I have been playing with the plugin trying to get it to work but have had zero luck. The form reports “success” once the form has been submitted but the data never appears in SalesForce. Here’s what I’ve done so far to help troubleshoot (to no avail):

    • Enabled debug mode in WP and tail the log. Nothing found there .
    • Check the SF debug log. Our “old” form populates a log. Using the plugin however no debug records are created.
    • Quadruple check the Org ID. It is correct.
    • Tail the Apache2, WP, and sys logs to see if any errors are generated. None are.
    • Generate the shortest form using the same default fields from the SF Web-to-Lead form generator.

I know this is a great plugin but I’m at the end of my troubleshooting rope. Any suggestions on what else I can look at to help debug?

Thanks in advance for your assistance!

    Hi Nick,

Seems this thread got busy! My boss had some other priorities so I had to take a break on work on this.

I followed your basic troubleshooting instructions above by:

    • Changing theme to “Twenty Fourteen”
    • Deactivating all plugins
    • Changing all pick list fields to their internal name

I also tried to add the “debug” and “debugEmail” hidden fields (after upgrading to 2.4.4 of course ?? ). Despite trying all of the above simultaneously and separately I still can’t seem to capture anything in SFDC. Any suggestions would be helpful and very appreciated! Happy to provide screenshots of whatever you need.

    Thanks!

Yes, some people neglect to read the support guidelines asking them to not jump on similar threads ??

Sounds like the issue may be:

Your web host (configuration or security policies)
    or
    Something else entirely

Unfortunately, we’ve hit the end of free support — nothing so far indicates a bug in the plugin… so if you want me to troubleshoot this further I’d need access to your server & SalesForce account, and you’d have to purchase premium support.

?? For me its the WP Plugin. The SF script works ??

The SF script submits directly to the SF API … so that would indicate an issue with your server or form configuration within the plugin.

FYI- v2.5 includes an importer that’ll generate a form in the plugin based on the Web-to-Lead form code. No more looking up field names- it’s automatic.

    May help? ??
