Plugin good, Concept flawed.
-
Plugin is good at its job hence 2 stats. Concept : Think twice.
I mean there is absolutely no sense to cache regular posts or pages of a WordPress static site on to user’s computer. The whole “I have a PWA” even when you actually don’t need one concept is flawed to the core.
This is just caching pages onto the browser just like a cache plugin, but we already have tons of plugins and you only need to set 1 line in the .htaccess to define the life of cache.
Unfortunately, the PWA concept is not as simple as installing a plugin and getting a PWA. PWA are meant to make dynamic sites faster by shifting processing to browser, Google’s upcoming PWA update might impact this plugin.
