G’day, thanks for the nice plugin.

Sometime between last night and this morning (Aussie time) the dashboard widget stopped being able to authenticate. The settings page still says that the plugin/website has been authenticated, but the dashboard widget gives the “No Analytics account selected. Double check…” message.

I’ve checked a few sites that other people run, and they’ve got the same issue, so I’m pretty sure it’s not just me ??

    cheers,
    Ross

  • As far as I can see, Yoast’s plugin has the same issue with authentication, and Joost actually removed his own Dashboard widget on his plugin, probably for the same reason as Ronald.

I will wait a few more days to see if either Ronald or Joost will fix those pending issues. I’m sure that this time it’s Google to be blamed for their changes ?? Being patient in this case may be the best option…

In the mean time, Google Analyticator certainly works in terms of tracking, and manually adding the UA works perfectly. It’s only the Dashboard Widget that is gone. Which is a pity, because I — and my clients! — loved it ??

Well, September 10th has come and gone so it seems Ronald has either forgotten or encountered some kind of issue updating the plugin. As far as I know there still aren’t any decent GA plugins that have good dashboard widgets that are working after the API update. Hope we won’t have to wait too long, I’ve already had to explain to several clients why their analytics widget is disabled!

Great plugin though. Hope somebody takes up the cause and keeps it alive now that Ronald is moving on to bigger and better things!

Yes there is, its called “Google Analytic Dashboard”

    Hi Guys,

I wanted to let you guys know that we have picked up development of the GA plugin from Ronald and have been working hard with the guys from Google over the last week to get the plugin back up and running.

We use this plugin on hundreds of client sites so believe me we are trying to get this new version released as soon as possible.

    We are very close.

    Stay tuned.

    Cheers,

That’s good news! thx for letting us know!

That’s great to hear Troy. Thanks for keeping us in the loop. Looking forward to the update!

Google Analytics Dashboard and Web Ninja Google Analytics are not working any longer. You can’t even set up any of the Google Analytics-related plugins withour getting message errors.

Google Analytics Dashboard is still working for me on several sites.

Try disabling the plugin, and re-enabling it again with a fresh authentication.

    Hi Everyone.

Google Analyticator 6.3.1 is now up and running.

Please report any issues as new threads.. thanks!

Do you have a donation page?

I’ve just installed v6.3.2., authenticated with Google the new way, and it’s working! ?? Thanks a lot, Ronald, Troy, Ben.

And many thanks to Ronald Heft also, very nice plugin.

    cheers,

Thanks for fixing this plugin. I just liked having the dashboard widget and the other plugins with a dashboard didn’t work either.
