  • Any update on this? Some media are focussing their attentions on websites that ignore the cookie directive or its implementations into national law. Having a plugin that complies is a good thing, methinks.

Yes I’d be interested on an update too. Would be great if some sort of cookie law compliance would be integrated in the plugin somehow.

    Hello Joost,

Yes, I want to vote for an update.
We are using the Cookie Plugin “Choc Chip EU Code”.
That plugin you place the Cookie Javascript in that plugin, and the plugin only displays the Javascript if you allowed cookies.
But this Anaytics plugin generates the Javascript.

Is it possible to display the generated Javascript in the Admin page so we can paste it in the Cookie Plugin.
We will lose the option of withholding the GA javascript when users are above a certain level, but we can live with that.

Another option is to rewrite your manual placement code. It’s PHP now, but if you can rewrite this to Javascript, then we can place that Javascript in the Cookie Plugin.

Hope to hear from you Joost.

    Regards,

    Bert Catsburg
