• Hi,

I’m using Google Analytics since a couple of weeks on this website : https://www.blogaf.org. It works well (it collects data correctly), but…

    1. The data from GA are very different from those of Jetpack/Stats plugin : less than half of traffic. I know numbers shouldn’t be equals, because of different methods, but it seems a BIG difference…

    2. When I checked the GA settings page, it tells me “Tracking Not Installed” :
“The Google Analytics tracking code has not been detected on your website’s home page.”
And… when I search through the source code of my index page, effectively, I can’t find the tracking code or the JS script in the head section.

Is that normal or am I doing something wrong ?

    Thanks a lot,

    Serge

  • I am seeing this as well. I have tried to update and it always says the code is not installed. Is this expected behavior? I will wait a day and see if any stats show up. I have multiple sites configured and all of them are using the plugin as of this AM.
