  • Users do not need to be logged in to see documents, nor do they need to have a Google account at all. However, if they DO have a Google account, they must either be logged in or fully logged out of it. A “stale” or timed out login may cause problems, as you’ve noticed. See Notes #6.

    Unfortunately as the cookies are client-side and not based on the user’s domain, I can’t control them. I’m sure people wouldn’t want the document viewer to log them out of their Google account anyway, and there’s certainly no way I can force the plugin to log them in. This is a technical limitation of Google’s viewer beyond my control. Sorry about that…
