Store pages are standard WP pages. To add a custom sidebar or featured image you will need to rely on your theme settings or other plugins.

I can add an image on any other of my current WP pages apart from store pages. Maybe they don’t play nicely with suffusion?
    Many thanks, Sonia

They do not specifically turn on/off any page features. However some themes do not support custom page types and thus limit admin sidebar elements, widgets, comments, reply blocks, and other features to built-in WordPress page types.

That is going to be more & more of an issue as there are a lot of plugins, themes, and even WordPress object types that are using the custom page types & taxonomies system.

If we find a way to trick themes into processing the page types we will build it in. Also, post your theme URL so we can play with it on our dev servers and look for workarounds.

    Thanks for your reply,
this the url for my theme:

I’ve just upgraded to their latest version.

I hope there’s a way to solve this problem.
    Many thanks, Sonia

Extended Page Features, Store Pages now supports:

    Title & Editor (as always)
    Comments
    Featured Image
    Post Formats
    Author Info
    Excerpts
    Trackbacks
    Revisions

What exactly is Extended Page Features?

    This is excellent news.
How do I upgrade to get the extended page features?
    Many thanks, Sonia
