Get fatal error when trying to install this plug-in :

Warning: require_once(gmw-widget.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/home/alpenglo/public_html/www.1435highlands.com/wp-content/plugins/google-maps-widget/google-maps-widget.php on line 17

Have repeated download and installation process twice … same results.

That is really strange ?? I can confirm 100% that the file is in the download ZIP.
What version are you trying? Try installing it without download, directly trough add plugin – search. If it fails again contact us at info (animal) webfactoryltd.com.

I’m marking this as closed since nobody else reported such a big, fatal error. If needed contact us on the email address noted above.

I was attempting to install a Blog Stats Plugin at https://www.longhaulpartner.com and received a Fatal Error Message.

The error message is: Fatal error: Call to undefined function screen_icon() in D:\hosting\10523580\html\wp-content\plugins\wp-post-stats\post-stats-options.php on line 148

I am not able to get back to the site. Google can’t even find it. Is there a way to recover the site and fix this?

    Thanks so much,
    Bruce K.

I’m sorry but that issue has nothing to do with our plugin so we can’t help you. Delete the problematic plugin’s folder and you’ll be able to login.

I am also getting the fatal error

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class GoogleMapsWidget in /home2/timcrox1/public_html/drifters/wp-content/plugins/google-maps-widget/gmw-widget.php on line 252

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Tim

Remove other Google Maps plugins. There’s a PHP naming conflict.

    Awesome, thanks a lot
