[Plugin: Google News Sitemap Generator] Updating Settings fails & updating posts hangs

Hi Chris,

Just put your plugin through some tests. First, I installed, and configured, but after hitting “Update Settings”, I got a blank page. I pressed on and reloaded; it wasn’t hanging up WP. The sitemap was created (mostly correct – more on that later^ ), and the settings took.

However, the real problem was that publishing an article takes forever. Also, when I tried to use WordPress’ Quick Edit feature to modify the post’s categories, it hung. (The sitemap was not updated.) Once I deactivated the plugin, this problem disappeared.

^Also, I mentioned that the sitemap wasn’t completely correct. I configured it to only include posts within certain categories (actually just 1), but the first sitemap it created included 1 post that was not in that category. I don’t know what the pattern is because I haven’t been able to get it to update the sitemap since.

Now it could be that there is some conflict with another plugin as I do have quite a lot. Let me know if you would like a list.

Any help would be appreciated.
