[Plugin: Google XML Sitemaps] Appends a “/” to the end of author pages, resulting in a warning from

In version 3.1.2, when author pages are included in the sitemap, the plugin appends a “/” to the end of the URL. This slash is stripped off by WordPress, which also responds with a 301. This results in the following warning by Google (in Webmaster Tools):

When we tested a sample of URLs from your Sitemap, we found that some URLs redirect to other locations. We recommend that your Sitemap contain URLs that point to the final destination (the redirect target) instead of redirecting to another URL. Help Help
