[Plugin: Google XML Sitemaps] Gallery Images’ Pages not included

  • Hi, there!

    I have just installed this plug-in. It works fine but I’ve noticed that the links to the images’ pages are not included.

    As an example I have a gallery page with ten pictures. Every of those ten pictures has it’s own page. What should I check to get that links included in the sitemap?
    Or this isn’t possible in this plug-in.

  • I have same issue. My pages don’t link to images POSTS, however my blog posts and pages include the images in them. But really there’s no link structure to where a Sitemap generator could find the Image Posts. I was hoping there was a plugin that would read the Media Gallery and include those posts in the Sitemap, that would be awesome.

    Had the same problem but found a solution. Depending on your settings you have most likely defined that “by default” you post and pages are categorised as “uncategorized”. In the sitemap xml plugin there is an exculde option for any pages or post with this setting. So implecitly your photo pages are excluded.

    Uncheck “uncategorised” exclude in sitemap xml plugin and it works. Better of course categorize your pages in the way you like but not “uncategorised”.
