[Plugin: Google XML Sitemaps] Google Error

I’m running the most current version of the plugin and am receiving errors visible in Google Webmaster Tools. The errors are for both my sitemap.xml and sitemap.xml.gz:

We encountered an error while trying to access your Sitemap. Please ensure your Sitemap follows our guidelines and can be accessed at the location you provided and then resubmit.

When I view the sitemap, everything looks fine:

https://trentscott.com/sitemap.xml
https://trentscott.com/sitemap.xml.gz

Here’s my robots.txt:

User-agent: *
Disallow:

Sitemap: https://trentscott.com/sitemap.xml.gz

I’ve tried resubmitting it manually a couple times to no avail, however the plugin says it was successfully submitted to Google. Any thoughts on what’s causing this and how to fix it?
