Well, you don’t have to send ALL your posts everytime you do a new sitemap, if you have a lot
You can choose how many posts, putting a limit in sitemap setting (advanced options), the most recent articles will be included first
I can’t tell you exactly as it’s written because I use another language, but you should find it easily

The current maximum number of Sitemaps that can be referenced in a Sitemap Index file is 50,000.

This is mentioned in the plugin FAQ
    https://www.arnebrachhold.de/2006/04/07/google-sitemaps-faq-sitemap-issues-errors-and-problems/#P28_maxsize

That said, a quick search tells me that 2 years ago, the developer didn’t want to:

Mind you, this is WordPress, and another fast google tells me

Is there good a WordPress plugin for auto-generation of multiple sitemaps? Yes, it’s called Better WordPress Google XML Sitemaps, and it includes sitemapindex and MultiSite support.

    From https://perishablepress.com/multiple-sitemaps/

    The plugin is https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/bwp-google-xml-sitemaps/

I have tested Better Word Press Google XML Site maps. Its not at all up to mark.
    > Site map will be splitted in multi small sitemap.
My Ans :- split work will be done by separate module, which not yet has been associated with plugin.

    > Very fast indexing by Google
My Ans :- I tell you seriously, indexing was very slow. I have submitted my sitemap by using Google xml sitemap around one hour before and now so far Google index 500 posts.

In Better Word Press Google XML Site maps plugin – First submitted only 8003 posts/pages to SE and worst was that Google had index only 04 posts in 24 hours.

    > Disappointment :- For me and everyone it should be that Better Word Press Google XML Site is auto means consuming very big memory which is impossible to handle on shared hosting.
Little update in data or comment submission will let plugin to run cron on server which usually not at all user friendly.

Just think Your site having good visits now on each comment submission, cron will run and it will make you website very slow.

No question to Use Better Word Press Google XML Site maps plugin now.

    Back to my question

What exactly I meant that If you set only 50000 posts in sitemap than remaining posts will be left out for SE indexing.

As per author of Google XML Site maps plugin – future version will have sitemap split function but not as per no of posts rather month wise.

Not only me so many other user has been raised comment to plugin auther that please make it as per no of posts rather month wise. I don’t know what action Mr auther going to take.

Back to Plugin – I have tasted almost all sitemap plugins and got worst answer. Google XML Site map plugin is simply best and if it will have split sitemap function it will be just great plugin.

Google XML Site map plugin is simply best

Not perfect, but simply the best, that’s for sure.

Seriously, I don’t understand what’s your problem, 50000 URLs are not enough?
You can choose how many, the most recent articles will be included first, the rest is already indexed.
I would remind you that Google himself indexes, it’s THE Google work, regardless of the plugins.
The map helps, even a lot if you want, but anyway Google index the same, sooner or later.
It seems to me that 80,000 items of yours are “enough” in the network, or not?
It’s the content’s quality that counts, and Google does its job anyway, mainly if there’s quality

I don’t mean to interrupt the discussion here, but I feel like I need to clear things up a little bit. Like I have told you earlier, sitemaps are not designed to help you get your contents indexed by Google, they are designed to help Google explore your site faster.

In Better Word Press Google XML Site maps plugin – First submitted only 8003 posts/pages to SE and worst was that Google had index only 04 posts in 24 hours.

You didn’t understand what the option meant, and I thought I have explained already.

For me and everyone it should be that Better Word Press Google XML Site is auto means consuming very big memory which is impossible to handle on shared hosting.
Little update in data or comment submission will let plugin to run cron on server which usually not at all user friendly.

I don’t know where you get that from but my plugin does not do such a thing. Cron? Simply no.
Which plugin you choose is up to you, and I would not judge the quality of any plugin based on personal requirements, because such things vary greatly.

    Anyway, good luck.

    For Tizz:-
My website is not like other website. its a basically a yellow page for banking information in India. You will find all kind of impotent bank news, branch address and swift code, Ifsc Code, Micr No, phone number, and etc.

All the posts have been created in one attempt. Its not like every day I am making 4 to 5 posts and Google will index the same very next day.
Once my website got ready to server than I have generated sitemap which could take only 50000 URL against 80000 URL in database.

Hope you will able to understand nature and content of website and my requirement.

    For OddOneOut
Sir, First there wan no intention from my side to spreed wrong news about your plugins. If any of my word hurt you – I seriously apologize for that.

I do know that writing a piece of code require great knowledge of subject. As you have developed a good plugin – I really appreciate that.
Now come on issue which I have faced in Better WordPress Google XML sitemap plugin is
Before installing memory consumption was 19.85 MB
After installing plugin, It directly went on 21.89 MB
Almost my website got jam and every moment I was try to update any content – It was restarting entire sitemap generating process.

As per my knowledge- I do not know how much I am correct that
SE index means – SE will have a virtual database of you website in SE server and whenever A user type a keyword in SE, Google server find first in their virtual also know cache database and arrange them as per priority and accuracy of content than will like that details through sitemap to you website.
Having said that its very important that SE should have complete idea about your website.

If I am able to submit complete list of available URL to SE then it will be fantastic if not thank big disappointment for me.

Hope you will able to understand nature and content of website and my requirement

So, what you say shows that you don’t have an “amateur” website, but a professional one.
And for a professional website a professional tool is required, that’s the fact.
These plugins aren’t made to make sitemap for thousands of posts at once, you’ll never develop it, unless you have the opportunity to set the time and memory PHP space on a dedicated server (and a professional SEO).

Before installing memory consumption was 19.85 MB
After installing plugin, It directly went on 21.89 MB
Almost my website got jam and every moment I was try to update any content – It was restarting entire sitemap generating process.

First, my plugin only consumes about 0.4 MB of memory, and when caching is on that number can be lower. The total size of PHP files used in sitemap generation process is even smaller than Google XML Sitemap plugin’s. I have just tried to activate Google XML Sitemap, and it’s the plugin that raises my memory limit by 1.1 MB (similar to you, 19.85 to 21.89). I think there’s a mistake here, please re-check.

And second, my plugin does not re-generate any sitemap when you update your posts, and there’s no cron running either. Again, please re-check.

A small tip: Try deactivating all plugins first and then activate only mine, see if that works for you.

Having said that its very important that SE should have complete idea about your website.

Sure but it is still Google that decides what to index and sitemaps only help Google ‘see’ your website’s structure better. Sitemaps are also useful when you have new contents.

Since all plugins developed here are free, you should be more patient and if things don’t meet your requirements, just post a feature request and wait (or if you can’t wait, hire someone that does the job for you). About your words, don’t worry about it, I’m not that easy to get hurt :).
