[Plugin: GPP Slideshow] Extra bracket (>) inserted when gallery used on a Page

Hi,
Just can’t figure this out! At https://bill.first-encounter-design.com, for comparison I’ve placed a gallery slideshow in a top widget and just below that in the page, I’ve placed a second gallery.

If you look. you’ll see the top one – in the widget area – displays as we’d expect. The one below has what appears to be an html tag closing bracket inserted to the left of the slide show and within the ul.slider

As I said, when used in a widget, no issue; also if used in a post. Only when [gallery id=<em>x</em>] is used in a Page.

I’m totally stumped. Anyone have any idea where this is being inserted? All ideas/solution-suggestions welcome ??
