[Plugin: GRAND FlAGallery – Best Photo Gallery] resizing photos

When uploading photos I get message error, exceed memory limit. As I understand it I cannot resize while uploading, as in Nextgen. How do you solve this? Resizing the file before uploading and if so, how? Thankful for help!
