Greetings and congratulations on a great tool. Thanks.

I am using the default menu tool for WP and added extra text in the field “Title Attribute” field. This is the yellow extra pop-up text field that appears when you hover the mouse over a menu item.

All works fine, but when I select a different language, the Title Attribute gets added to the menu item, distorting the menu bar.

Just using french as example langauge in the links below.

Solution would be to remove the Title Attribute text fields from the menu items, but I wanted you to be aware of this.

Other issues:
-> Table does not show properly: https://www.bedbreakfastprovence.com/language/fr/prix-de-la-chambre/
-> Drop-down boxes get distorted: https://www.bedbreakfastprovence.com/language/fr/reservations/ see drop-down data is now placed in footer

It’s likely I will switch to a different solution soon, so example links might no longer be valid.

Thanks for your kind words. We just released a new version which may solve the problems you reported. Can you re-install the version 1.2.1 of our plugin so we can do some testing? We would like you to use our plugin and will try to help.

Dear S.

It appears you have a plugin which is creating non-standard tooltips for your menu items. The GTS translation plugin is translating the tooltip as part of the menu item which is why it looks messed up. Can you disable that plugin and check if it solves the problem? Also, please let us know the name of that plugin so we may do some testing on it.

Hi Dave,

As described in first post, there’s a field called “Text Attribute” for each menu item, which contains the text for the yellow tooltips. I have these filled out for user convenience and SEO purposes.

As far as I know, I am using the standard Menu feature in WordPress for creating the menu. However, these fields might have been added by “WordPress SEO” by Yoast.

I guess only option is to leave these fields blank…?

The tooltip may be something that either your theme or the Yoast plugin produces. It is not standard in WordPress. Please try to leave the menu tooltips blank and let’s see if that solves the issue. Dave

Dear S., I am going to close this thread as resolved. You removed our plugin and the problem was evidently caused by the theme or plugin that inserted the tool tip for the menu items. If you read our FAQ you will see that our plugin cannot work concurrently with some other plugins.

We would be happy to see you re-install the plugin, please let me know if you need help.
