Plugin hang-up

  • I install the plugin and when I go to the Ajax Search Lite page, the page just hangs, even if it still hangs for 10 minutes, what could be the problem? I want to use a record search, there are 3100 records in total

    Hi,

    It is very likely going to be a 3rd party script conflict. This is an extremely rare issue, and almost every time another plugin is at fault.

    The cause is, that another plugin or the theme is very likely incorrectly loading a script file to the search back-end page, which then causes an error, because it is not supposed to be there.

    The best and fastest way of resolving (without using error console and error logs) is to temporarily switch off all other plugins one by one, and after each disabled plugin check the search back-end page. At some point it should start working.
