This plugin seems to have stopped working – I have it set up to run bi-daily to auto-update my store, yet some out of stock items are not being updated and new items added to Etsy are not showing on the website. I ran the updater manually and it said no products to change. I don’t understand why this is the case can anyone help?

Not quite sure how you’ve set it up to be bi-daily, but out of box, it’s supposed to run daily.

Not quite recalling where, but I think we don’t do anything with out of stock products, I may be wrong though. At the end of the day, we are only able to utilize data returned by the Etsy API for a given shop, and if it’s a case of some stuff not coming through, then we have nothing to update.

Are in-stock items coming through and importing like expected?

Hi no I’m afraid the new items aren’t coming through either and I did think reading the write up that monitoring of stock was part of the plugin. That was the point of the regular updates for stock monitoring as well as updating?

If you’re willing to share a link to your store, I can look things over on my end and see what’s coming through the API at the moment, for the plugin to work with. I should be able to get everything I need from the public facing URL.

So I’ve kicked things for a little while today. I’m seeing 133 listings available based on what gets returned from Etsy’s API. I was able to get 111 imported in. 80 of those are published posts, 31 of them are draft posts.

Around those times, I’m starting to encounter timeout errors and server memory issues, and I’m wondering if that’s starting to occur for you as well, though not as publicly shown as my dev site would be.

Depending on the size of the shop, it’s going to end up being a fair amount of processing to get everything imported in. Shared hosting will always play a big factor, as those don’t usually have long running process ability.

On the flip side, we have reason to try and find ways to optimize and reduce resources needed. Admittedly, it’s not an actively developed plugin overall, so I can’t make any promises on timeframe either.
