I tried installing this plugin, and it seems simple enough but it asks for a user-key and provides a link to where to find one, but it leads to a blank page. It appears HelloTXT isn”t currently offering access to this feature anymore (or at this moment). Because of this, this plugin is dormant. This is too bad because I was looking forward to testing this out.

At the moment I will refrain from voting on a rating for the script since this may simply be a downtime HelloTXT is going through when it comes to offering user-keys.

Update. The instructions have simply changed it seems. It looks like you have to go to your hellotxt settings, to the right click on applications, find the plugin and click on it, and there is a small link to the left somewhere that says “enable”. You click on that and it gives you a userkey!

I will test the plugin out and if it works, you will see my full review.

An update. This doesn’t appear to work at all. I have set it up as needed and nothing is posted at Hellotxt. I have used the one posted at HelloTxt’s site (where you obtain a user-key) and it doesn’t work either. So it looks to be something HelloTxt has updated on their end maybe? Until a working copy is made, this plugin does not work.

Any update on this? I’m still unable to find a userkey

    Hi Adbox,

You go to your Hellotxt dashboard, on the right side you will see a link to “Applications”, find WordPress Plugin, click on Enable this application and then you will see a user key that you use to input into your WordPress blog.

I’m going to test this out shortly to see if it’s working.

    Hi,

It does seem to work. However, you first have to enable it in each rss feed at Twitterfeed then also use this plugin to post to the hellotxt dashboard.

I just checked my social sites and it sent a message out via this plugin.
