[Plugin: Highlighter] Conflict with Page Columnist

This plugin appears to be conflicting with another excellent plugin:

https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/page-columnist/

When both are active, clicking on the “Preview changes” button opens the current version of the page rather than the preview.
