    Hello,

    I installed WordPress in a sub-directory on my site so I could import the pages and install a new theme.

    I’m getting this error message when using the plug-in:

    Warning: scandir(/home/content/06/7327206/html/wp/html-files-to-import) [function.scandir]: failed to open dir: No such file or directory in /home/content/06/7327206/html/wp/wp-content/plugins/import-html-pages/html-importer.php on line 210

    Warning: scandir() [function.scandir]: (errno 2): No such file or directory in /home/content/06/7327206/html/wp/wp-content/plugins/import-html-pages/html-importer.php on line 210

    Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/content/06/7327206/html/wp/wp-content/plugins/import-html-pages/html-importer.php on line 211

    Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/content/06/7327206/html/wp/wp-content/plugins/import-html-pages/html-importer.php on line 642

    Help please.

    Thanks,
    Josh

  • Ok, I’ve tried this plugin several times with different tags to try and pull my content in from my static content website to my localhost site to test. All it does is pull in the menu and links on each page and no content whatsoever. After each attempt, I then use bulk delete to delete the pages and try again.
    I’m thinking at this point that I’m going to have to copy and paste to get the content unless anyone knows of another plugin or way to do it.
    If someone wants to take a crack at, email me and I can point to a page on the site.

    may be your settings are wrong;
    you can send your HTML page to me at
    admin AT mynation.net

    i will try to import.

    brainwise, please post a link to one of the pages you’re trying to import, and let us know what tag/attribute/value combination you’re using for the content settings.

    i tested;
    it works fine.
    im sending him screen shots of settings.

    //LEARY,
    You still not found solution for my problem….!
    to keep original SLUGS.

    Rudy, as noted it does not work for me and I have the same settings as you. The only difference from your test environment is I’m using XAMPP locally instead of WAMP and pulling the pages from a local copy of the web pages.
    Stephanie, here is a page — https://www.southpoint.com/states/tx/magnoliahoteldallas.html
    Wanting to pull in content primarily in the middle of the page (except on this page content on the right side as well). Under the Content html fields, I have been putting in div, id, and rightcont in the appropriate tag/attribute/value boxes and Saved. I have also tried body as the value. The results I get each time are the right titles to the pages but no content on each page pulled in. Maybe it’s an XAMPP quirk. Going to try WAMP later on to see if it works.
    I also use the bulk delete plugin after each import try to make sure I’m not looking at old import pages.

    Thanks Rudy. I got it to work with Google Chrome where it was not working with Firefox 13.0.1. Works now in Firefox after doing that. I also updated to the latest versions of WP and html import2. Need to work with the settings to pull in video links and images.
    Thanks.

    Silly bean Please note FIREfox bug and FIX my problem too.
