    Hi,

I purchased the Pro version of this last night and have got things working pretty well. I have adjusted the CSS to suit the layout of my site and everything seems fine.

I have tried to use a carriage return in the Playlist Description and this causes the entire player to not be displayed. I can put as much text as I like in the description as long as it’s all on one line which can look messy.

The link to my page where I am testing the player is below.

Can I use a tag instead within the plugin settings to achieve this?

    Thanks,

    TD.

Hi TD thanks for letting me know about this. I’ve tested it and the same thing is happening for me so I think this is definitely a problem I need to fix up in the next release of the plugin (due later this week). I’d already been alerted to a problem with using funny characters/symbols in description field and sometimes in other fields too so I’ll check to make sure the line break and/or carriage return is corrected along with these other issues. I’m also thinking it would be good to allow some basic html in the description field for things like links.

Anyway… problem noted…. will fix ASAP.

That’s great to hear. If you release an update, will I need to redo all my CSS?

Yep when you auto-update any plugin it basically just overwrites the old files with the new… so yes you’d lose any customisations you’ve made to the plugin in the code. I’d recommend taking a copy of your customised version onto your local PC so you can re-apply the changes to the css if needed after updating.

Why not include your custom CSS code in your theme style sheet, preferably a custom.css file that does not get over-ridden by an update!

Hey guys just updating this thread…. pro and lite version of the plugin have just been released with a fix for the original problem in this thread – the breakage of description field. Marking this resolved now – please get back in touch here if any further problems on this issue.

    Thanks
