• Am I missing something or is there no ability to actually add multiple playlists? Only multiple tracks?

The only button on the “Playlists” admin screen is for “Add Song”. The front-end visual is gorgeous, but it seems like the backend needs a lot of work.

additionally, the form markup is bizarre on that page:

    table
    form
    tr
    td

    i’d probably re-rder them:

    form
    table
    tr
    td

b/c Chrome’s inspector is trying to fix the busted markup and it shows an empty

    <form name="addplaylist" action="" method="post" enctype="multipart/form-data"></form>

Thanks for your feedback and suggestions Joshua. Good timing actually… just made the initial release of Pro Version live – check it out here.

The main features different from Lite (free) version are Multiple Playlists and enhanced Playlist Manager in the back-end.

I’ll be continuing to add and improve the features so definitely will look at your point 4) Browse button for mp3 file upload, in next release. Your points 1 & 2 are kind of done now, and 3 I think I’ve sort of achieved what you’re getting at in a slightly different way in the new Playlist Manager structure?

    HOORAY! Thank you, thank you.

uh oh… I cannot get the ADD SONG to work. I’m on a PC and tried both Firefox and IE to verify it wasn’t a Firefox issue. I’m a WordPress newbie, so I wouldn’t be surprised if I have missed something.

The songs are not getting added when I click on the ADD SONG button and all I get on the page where this playlist is loaded (with the correct shortcode) presents:
    Sample Track
    By Sample
But you can see that my playlist is enabled, because of the description
“Original music from major motion picture trailers.”

No songs appear in the Manage Playlist. Thanks for your assistance.

(see above) This is the Pro version

    @johnbeal

Will look into this immediately for you.

Oh FYI… this thread is for ‘multiple playlists’…. in the future please use a new support thread for new topics so I can keep track of them! ;-p Thanks all!

    Hi again @johnbeal

I’ve checked and cannot replicate this problem so I’m guessing its quite likely a user issue. Please check that you have first created a Playlist, then go into the Song Manager and add your songs. Also ensure you’ve filled out all the fields correctly, with the full file path links to your mp3 and ogg files (must do both).

If you still can’t get it working please email me privately (you should have my details on your Pro Version receipt) with your WP admin login details and I can take a look for you.
