  • Thanks for the reply…

    Have you checked the link and see if it’s working for you in FF?

    I’m not expecting it to be easy. I’ve tested a dozen players already, and none of them work easily, despite everyone saying their plugin is easy and simple. When you work with jquery and html5, nothing’s easy.

    The site is complete, this is the last bit. I’ll do more testing and let you know.

    @enigma:

    I was able to make it work in FF and IE. By adding:

    AddType audio/ogg ogg
    AddType audio/ogg oga
    AddType video/ogg ogv
    AddType video/mp4 m4v

    to my htaccess file. It’s working in FF 15 and IE9. Not sure about other browsers yet.

    You wrote: “The plugin works fine for 10,000+ users in all browsers,”

    I wouldn’t confuse “downloaded” with “successfully installed and working in all browsers.” Downloads are not an indication that it’s working, but that are 10,000+ people who gave it a shot.

    Hope this helps someone!

    Thanks Andre. I think I will add the mime type solution to the FAQs as it is a fairly common problem.

    Closing this thread as ‘resolved’ now.
