I upgraded and my dashboard became inaccessible. The front end of my site worked find but I could not access the backend whatsoever. I had to login to ftp and delete the plugin.

We fixed a couple of issues in this latest release and pushed that revision up. Please update again.

Note that this was in response to complaints this afternoon to our help@ email address. If you experience further issues, please email or call our Support line. Often we’re unable to replicate these problems on our test installs, and we need more information in order to troubleshoot and resolve.

I just installed this plugin for integration of my clients account to wordpress but it broke on the custom links… I tried to dig into the source and found line 626, not sure if this is a bug but I think it executes the loading of the xml file from idx passing the CID. But this is still executing without any checking wether the CID has a value or not.

Thanks for the information theartyoyoy. Today we have updated the plugin to version 1.3.5 in order to resolve the issue you raised in your comment above.

We remain unable to replicate the dupe page issue or dashboard issue described on this page.

As of this afternoon, over 120 clients have downloaded the latest plugin. Two have reported errors with duplicate pages. One has reported an inaccessible dashboard. Please provide us with more detail about your WP version, theme, and account by submitting your questions, along with that information via this form.

Nope. I’m having the same problems as Jared. This was with version 1.3.7 today (3/31/2011) at 3pm. So something is still wrong in version 1.3.7. I was able to delete the plugin, go to https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/idx-broker-wordpress-plugin/download/, and download the old version 1.3.3 to get running again. But this shouldn’t be required. Not cool.

There are multiple WP forum posts regarding WordPress Admin pages that simply fail to load, or load empty pages. When the Admin page fails to load, WordPress provides no default error code, something that would assist both the Developer, and the User in determining why an error has occurred.

In fact, WP users who experience that blank Dashboard error are often unable to agree upon a common fix for the WP blank error issue. Some suggested fixes have involved removing spaces from the PHP file, but with no commonality, or closure to suggest that one solution will work in every situation.

We will do all that we can to replicate your installation if you can provide us with WP version, PHP version, mySQL version, host provider, theme, and anything else that would assist us in troubleshooting this error.

You are not required to update to 1.3.7. We’re glad that version 1.3.3 is working for you.

The last two latest updates this week worked for me. Though one girl on another forum found out with IDX’s help that it was a maintenance plug-in, I think it was called JFMaintenance. If you have a cache plug-in you should turn that off too before installing the plug-in.

Thanks for providing this update Cyndi.

    Still doesn’t work in 3.2.1

Thank you for your feedback. We will do some testing over the weekend. If necessary, we will release an update to the Plugin.

You may also want to double-check the CID that you entered to be sure that it’s correct. This can sometimes occur when there is no CID, or an incorrect CID/Pass combination, followed by an attempt to connect.

We have just released version 1.3.9. This update went through a lot of QA processes prior to release, and resolves some of the false error messages and warnings that were appearing for clients that use the latest version of PHP, or those with very strict PHP server settings.

Please contact help @ idxbroker.com with any plugin related questions or concerns.
