[Plugin: Image Gallery with Slideshow] This didn't work

I am having the exact same problem. The images aren’t uploading. After trying to upload an image the message comes up on the dialog box that the upload was successful. When I go to the plugins folder /image-gallery-with-slideshow/uploads/slideshow, the folder is empty. I have changed permissions to 754 which should work but still nothing in the uploads folder. I have scoured the forum looking for an answer but no luck. I see that the above post is 6 months old — that isn’t very encouraging.

I thought I wanted to use this, but like you it does not work for me either. It wont even let me try to upload I click the upload
Single Image Upload or
Multiple Image Upload and nothing happens. I looked and the last update was in 2011 so I guess this is no longer supported what did you guys wind up going with?
