    Im not sure how the user passwords were effected but I got reports from a user that their password was treated as incorrect.

    It seemed to happen right I tried an import which was partially successful, showing me an error that some but not all users where updated.

    I would hate to think that the other 1300+ users don’t have the same problem. And if so, how do I resolve this?

    I think it is a conflict with another plugin, since this plugin uses the default WordPress functions to create the users.
