When updating, you cannot enter the website with the phrase 500. Developers who know how to solve this problem, please write a reply.

me too, my website now stuck on “Briefly unavailable for scheduled maintenance. Check back in a minute.” for ages ??

To ‘resolve’ you just rename .maintenance in the root to something else.

It would be good to get a resolution to this bug. Not great.

    Hi guys,

We are sorry for the inconvenience. We have fixed this in v3.1.26 that we released in the same day, yesterday (Feb 22, 2023).

And yes, deleting the .maintenance file from the file manager of your hosting will help you to get your site back. After that, you can then update this plugin again.

I am marking this thread as Resolved as the issue has been fixed in the latest update as I mentioned above.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??

Hello plugin support, today try to update and still mark that error of -1, could you help me?

    ditto……

    still not working…

    Hi Astra team,

The new 3.1.26 version doesn’t automatically update from the 3.1.25 and the admin plugin list doesn’t asks for manually update.

Should i have to update it manually from FTP or Upload ?

I use the Premium Starter Templates version

    Thank you

@bsfherman – We’re experiencing the same issue when updating from 3.1.25 to 3.1.26.

    Solution:

The issue was being caused by a plugin bug that has now been fixed.

If your site is stuck in maintenance mode, you can fix that by deleting the “.maintenance” file in your main WordPress directory (probably /public_html)

To update to the fixed version:

    1. Deactivate the Starter Templates plugin (since it’s breaking the updater)
    2. Update the Starter Templates plugin to 3.1.26 or higher
    3. Reactivate the Starter Templates plugin

    Hi guys,

Sorry, that I didn’t provide more detail about deleting the plugin first.
In my case, it was working fine when I update from v3.1.24 to v3.1.26.

Following the steps mentioned by @pikamander2 above will work and fix the issue. Thanks for sharing the steps, mate ??

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??
