Plugin install failed

I tried to install rel-syndication for wordpress via .zip upload, and got this message:
Installing Plugin from uploaded file: relsyndication.zip
Unpacking the package…Installing the plugin…
The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.
Plugin install failed.
Any ideas? Thanks!
