Sorry, Sarah! It looks like there was a problem with the last SVN push.

I’ve just pushed it up again and everything looks good in SVN trunk now.

Please try again and let me know!

The only thing I noticed is that there’s no Preview button for the archived post status and the “view post” button issues a 404. This makes it tough to edit an archived post in the future and send it back to published status. You would have no way of previewing it unless you send it back to a draft, which is ok but not sure if it might be confusing.

Anyway, awesome plugin, I wrote a review here:

Thank you very much for the write-up!

You’re right, that is a tricky one. I think of Draft as a “pre-publish” status, whereas Archived is a “post-published” status. So that is why the Preview button is gone.

Your observation actually leads me to think that an Archived post should not editable at all. That would eliminate the urge to preview changes, because changes cannot be made. It would also reinforce the semantic purpose behind the status of being a “post-published” state.

I’ve created an issue for it here: https://github.com/fjarrett/archived-post-status/issues/2

    Thanks again!
