Plugin Installs, but Doesn't Show in WP Dashboard

    The Backup to DropBox plugin installs fine, shows up as an installed plugin, but doesn’t show up in the WP Dashboard Left vertical menu.
    I am 99% certain I know the cause, conflict with Better WP Security, because I tried installing Backup To DropBox in another WP install that doesn’t have Better WP Security and Backup to Drop shows fine in the menu.
    I’ve tried disabling several of Better WP Securites functions, but so far no luck.
    I am wondering if I have the “backend” hidden is cause, but Im nervous to try ??
    Any ideas?

    Never mind, I found the problem,,and had NOTHING to do Better WP Security. OF all things it was an EU Cookie Law Compliance plugin by zafrira. How such a little plugin could cause trouble,,well, and here I was messing around with htaccess, wp-config,,blah blah.
    Anyway, sorry for the noise.
