[Plugin: Invite Friends] Fatal error when I activate

  • Just a thought. The plugin says works with WordPressMU + Buddypress. I’m not sure if it makes a difference or not but it’s possible, are you using regular WordPress or WordPressMU?

    regular wordpress. Hmmm learning budypress/wordpressmu

    I have just got this error on my WPMU and buddypress install.
    The plugin is installed in the correct location.
    Would anyone have any ideas as to why this is?

    Any help is really appreciated.

    Has anybody managed to get this plugin to work? I’ve just launched a networking website, and would love to be able to add this functionality to the site.

    It appears from looking around that some people have got this plugin to work.

    Can somebody update this plugin for the latest Buddypress CMS

    1) Go to your plugin folder
    2) Open ‘/invitefriends-plug-in/’
    3) Open ‘/bp-invitefriends.php’
    4) On line 49 change ‘bp_core_add_subnav_item’ to ‘bp_core_new_subnav_item’

    Works so far for me

    Working on it..!
    It works with current versions of BP and WP but only for Gmail and manual email. Rest are yet to be updated..
