    Hi,

The installed the plugin on a new site, and I wanted to add multiple authors to my posts. The plugin didn’t seem to work with my theme (Astra Premium). So, I have deleted the plugin, but now I see random shortcodes from this plugin in my published posts. [molongui_author_box]

When I try to edit the posts, the shortcode is not there, it’s not there in the Gutenberg editor, the Classic editor, and not the text view of the Classic editor. But it is visible in the published post. What is this? How do I get rid of this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @makemyindiaonline,

The plugin does work fine with Astra. At least it did last time we checked. Anyway, the plugin doesn’t add any shortcodes anywhere at all. In fact, shortcodes are only available with the Molongui Authorship Pro plugin. Maybe this is why you wrongly say it doesn’t work with Astra??

Anyway, it seems you (or anyone who had access to your site) added our shortcode into a hook provided by Astra (astra-advanced-hook-1890). You should check that configuration and remove it from there.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply, I have fixed the previous issue. But I still don’t see the author boxes at the end of the article.

The plugin is changing the byline as expected, but there is no authorbox. I have the default plugin settings. And the default settings for the post.

I have the exact same issue, happening on another website too, it runs Astra Premium.

And another website with the GeneratePress Premium theme, there is no issue, it words as advertised. Can you guide why the plugin is not working with Astra?
