My client is using your plugin on her website. We are currently switching the website to a new theme and I want to disable your plugin temporarily, so that I can use code inspector on the site.

The problem is, whatever I do, I can’t disable the protection. I’ve tried:

    1. Deactivating plugin
    2. Deleting plugin
    3. Clearing cache / removing cache plugin
    4. Checking htaccess and wp-config files to make sure no extra code is left there
    5. Using “disable protection for registered users” and “disable protection for users with admin role” in plugin settings but the protection is still on for every user or visitor.
    6. Switching to the default WordPress theme

What am I missing? Is your plugin storing some info in the database?

    Thank you!

I disabled all the plugins and the issue was gone. So I activated them all one by one to figure out what plugin was causing the issue.

My client also uses NextGEN Gallery PRO which has “image protection” options. There is an option to disable the right click, it was activated.

Hopefully this finding will help somebody in the future. ??

    Hi @soulstudio,

Apologies for the delay in response.

I am glad to hear that the issue has been fixed on your site.

And thank you for sharing your finding.

    Regards,
    Kenil Shah
