Hi, I have enabled your plugin for the admin panel only. The plugin seems to be causing a problem with the UTC setting on my install. When the plugin is enabled then the UTC time is incorrectly showing as the local time in WP Admin / Settings / General.

If I disable the call to the date_default_timezone_set() function near the top of DateTimePicker::scrtips() then the problem goes away, and the UTC time on my install again shows correctly.

I believe the problem is related to the issue described in this support thread (scroll down to Samuel Wood post):

  • Hi @kevinyellowjacketca
Thank you for reporting this. Yes, it’s related with the other support thread.
I can only replicate the issue if I have the ‘When to Load’ option set to ‘Full website including admin panel’ or ‘admin panel only’. Is this the option you also have selected?
If I select to load ‘across the full website’ the problem does not occur to me. Can you confirm?
    Greetings, Carlos

I had the “When to load” setting to “Admin panel only”. I can confirm that when I changed it to load “Across the full website” then the problem disappeared.
