Plugin is creating redirects almost every second

    Hello,

    We recently started to use spotlight to add an instagram feed and really like it. However, today our webhost informed us the plugin is creating 10,000+ redirects like this
    128.210.23.92 – – [19/Nov/2021:09:16:42 -0500] “GET /?sli-img=B1t7NfGFuL8&size=l HTTP/1.1” 302 – “-” “WordPress/5.8.1; https://dev.hhs.purdue.edu”
    and causing high load on the server. Do you have any idea what is causing that and how we can stop it creating so many redirects?

    @zong6 the redirects are coming from our image proxy which is used as a last-resort backup just in case the images in your feed fail to be loaded correctly. We’re looking into updating or removing it in order to avoid such issues.

    @zong6 we had fixed this issue back in version 0.9.4, so if you’re using an older version, updating to the latest version may fix it for you. Further investigation did show that that fix from v0.9.4 might miss a few edge-cases, so we’re working on tightening that up in an upcoming update.
