Plugin is creating robots.txt file

    I used your plugin to transfer a Custom Post from one website to another and it worked very well. However I noticed that it creates a blank robots.txt file in the root folder which the AIOSEO plugin doesn’t like as that overrides its own virtual robots.txt file.

    Every time I delete the physical file your plugin recreates it.

    I’m no SEO expert but is this meant to happen?

    Hi,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

    robots.txt file prevent indexing your imported and exported files. Plugin just append data to prevent it, not overwrite other plugin data. It’s normal.

    We will give a dedicated option for it in next major update
