Plugin is duplicating shortlinks when cloning articles

When I clone an article and then edit it, even if completely changing it (including the slug) prior to publishing, the shortlink it makes after publishing is a duplicate of the original article the post was copied from. There doesn’t seem to be a way to reset it either, so once it’s duplicated, I’m stuck with a link that doesn’t work.
Why is it duplicating the link if the article is pointing to a different url?

Hi @tovlakas the problem you are referring its related to the duplicating plugin you are using. If you can share the duplicator plugin so i can help.
