Plugin is excellent value but support variable & documentation needs work
-
This plugin is really impressively good value for money. It offers such a lot of functionality.
The trouble comes when you’re trying to make it work for you. The documentation is a nightmare – explanations such as “X Setting – this is where you set X” don’t add much. Two toggle switches marked ‘shipping’ in different areas of the capability screen, with no explanation, no good explanations of what settings need to be set in WooCommerce, what in WCFM (particularly shipping), that kind of thing…
There are a few YouTube tutorials, but nowhere near enough, considering all the options and customisations and permutations available within it.
The support offered is variable – sometimes you get an excellent, complete, easy to understand solution quickly, sometimes you get a garbled lot of nonsense that passive-aggressively blames you for the problem, or just repeats the question you’ve asked , or pretends you didn’t submit a screenshot of the problem when you did, and then ignores you for weeks. If you’re able to push through the occasionally useless support and persevere (maybe post the same question on the public forum instead of the private ticketed system for ‘pro’ users to get a response from a different person) they have really tried hard to get their plugin to work for me.
Honestly, I think I’ve had much more support from them than I had any right to expect for my cash, and for that, they totally deserve 5 stars.
