Plugin is not compatible with custom page template

  • Hello, I have installed WPtouch mobile plugin but when i am assign some custom page template to page then this page is not working with this plugin and i am getting only header and rest of the page is blank. So please help me how can i compatible plugin with this plugin.

  • easiest fix is to buy the pro version, but if u can copy ur template into plugins/wptouch/themes/bauhaus/default/ wpt will see it…of course, this will have to be done after an update of wpt

    Hi @gaurangsondagar,

    If the custom page template includes calls to functions, files, etc. that are in the desktop theme, then you might see issues like this with it. It’s hard to say exactly why it is happening, but if you have any functions or functionality that is custom to the desktop theme being requested in the custom page template, you’ll need to define that functionality in the WPtouch theme as well.

    Like airdrummer said, this is easier/possible with WPtouch Pro’s child theme support.
